New bags and new projects

For my 50th birthday, my mom sent me my great grandma's knitting bag, full of her old bone knitting needles and old tatting!

And my friend Julia made my old wool blazer (anno 1980 or so) into a cool bag! Am still trying to find a "before" photo (picture shoulder pads), but here is the finished project at least!

I am amazed!

And here's my newest project: a shawl with the beautiful silk/wool yarn from Du Store Alpacca.

I like this project because it's going quickly plus the yarn is so soft and pretty!
